Events & Campaigns Coordinator

Tiny Cat Animal Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)(3) rescuing at-risk cats and supporting community cats across DC, MD, and VA.

Help us plan the fundraisers that keep TCAR running, from kitten yoga to Giving Tuesday! By volunteering with TCAR, you’ll help shape how our work gets done, with real room to try ideas and make them yours.

Projects you might work on

• Planning in-person events (such as kitten yoga, adoption events, restaurant "profit share" nights)
• Running online giving campaigns (such as Waggle fundraisers, Giving Tuesday, merchandise sales, calendar contests)
• Handling event logistics, supplies, and day-of volunteers
• Tracking how each event or campaign performs

You might be a great fit if you…

• Are creative
• Have an eye for details
• Enjoy working with other volunteers
• Are self-motivated and comfortable figuring things out as you go, and ask for help when you need it

Event experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Commitment: About 5-10 hours a week, with extra time in the weeks before an event. Some events fall on evenings and/or weekends. Planning is remote; in-person events are in the DC area.
