We enable college students to build impactful software solutions, focusing on crucial issues like environmental conservation, support for at-risk populations, and innovative communication tools.     Coding Bootcamp Project Coordinator Role

    We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to oversee and support our student-led technology initiatives during our Summer 2026 Coding Bootcamp. In this role, you will guide college students through the entire software development lifecycle as they create solutions for pressing social issues and community needs.

    Timeline

    • Program duration: Monday, June 1nd, 2026 to Friday, August 15th, 2026
    • Time commitment: Minimum of 20 hours per week
    • Position type: Fully remote

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and oversee multiple student-led projects, ensuring alignment with our program's mission and social impact goals
    • Bridge communication between student teams, tech mentors, and community partners
    • Guide student teams through all project phases from ideation to implementation
    • Monitor progress, identify potential roadblocks, and collaborate with teams on effective solutions
    • Organize regular project reviews, milestone check-ins, and feedback sessions
    • Assist in developing and delivering workshops related to software engineering, project management, and social impact
    • Create an inclusive environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and personal growth
    • Evaluate project outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our "Apps For Good" program

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology or software development
    • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
    • Experience with agile project management tools and techniques is a plus
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Passion for education, mentorship, and technology for social good

    Requirements

    • Must reside in the United States or Canada
    • Availability for weekly team check-ins and milestone reviews
