    Volunteer Grant Writer – Prince Jade Nonprofit Organization

    Prince Jade Nonprofit Organization is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Grant Writer to help secure funding that supports our youth‑focused programs, including stability hubs, community outreach, sports initiatives, and workforce development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, research, and building systems that strengthen a growing nonprofit.

    Responsibilities

    • Research grant opportunities that align with our mission and programs
    • Draft, edit, and prepare grant proposals and supporting documents
    • Work directly with the Founder to gather organizational information
    • Assist in building a simple grant calendar and tracking system
    • Help develop basic budgets and narratives using provided templates
    • Maintain organized records of submitted and pending grants

    Qualifications

    • Strong writing, editing, or research skills
    • Ability to follow structured systems and meet simple deadlines
    • Interest in youth programs, community development, or nonprofit work
    • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
    • Students, retirees, and professionals are all welcome
    • No prior grant writing experience required — training and templates provided

    All organizational information provided to you (mission, EIN, address, program details, budgets, etc.) is confidential and may only be used for grant writing on behalf of Prince Jade Nonprofit Organization. Volunteers are not permitted to share, distribute, or use this information outside of assigned grant work.

    All work is completed remotely and independently. Drafts may be submitted in Google Docs or PDF format.
