    Job Title: Administrative Assistant to the Founder (Intern Opportunity) Female and Male may apply

    Location: Frisco, Texas, and surrounding communities

    Position Type: Volunteer (First 90 Days), with potential for full-time employment afterward. Internship credit available for college students.

    About the Role:

    We are looking for a dedicated, proactive Administrative Assistant to support the Founder of The Grandparents Community Network (TGCN). This is a perfect opportunity for an intern or college student in the Frisco, Texas area who is eager to learn and gain valuable experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to the Founder, including managing schedules, emails, and phone communications.
    • Must have your own transportation to commute locally.
    • Answer phone calls and return messages promptly.
    • Assist with organizing documents, coordinating meetings, and managing event logistics.
    • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all tasks.
    • Collaborate with the Founder and team to ensure smooth operations.
    • Assist with event planning and promotion, including making outgoing calls to raise awareness and support.
    • Work independently and remotely as needed, while also being available for in-person tasks.

    Requirements:

    • Local to Frisco, Texas, or surrounding communities.
    • Must have your own transportation.
    • Willingness to learn, follow directions, and work independently.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
    • Experience with external outlets and communication.
    • Comfortable making outgoing calls to promote TGCN and its initiatives.
    • Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
    • Availability for a volunteer role for the first 90 days, with the potential for full-time employment afterward.
