About Us:
The Alexander Review is an emerging literary publication dedicated to showcasing diverse voices, creative perspectives, and thoughtful discourse.
We are a volunteer-driven, remote team working across different time zones to publish curated issues, support writers, and expand our reach within the literary and creative space.
Role Overview:
This role focuses on identifying and approaching potential sponsors, partners, and funding opportunities to support the growth of The Alexander Review.
Responsibilities:
- Research potential sponsors (brands, organizations, institutions).
- Assist in creating sponsorship pitches and proposals.
- Reach out and initiate sponsorship conversations.
- Support early-stage negotiations and discussions.
- Track opportunities and responses.
Qualifications:
Strong persuasive writing skills
- Interest in fundraising, sales, or brand partnerships.
- Comfortable initiating cold outreach.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
Additional Details:
This is a volunteer role, requiring approximately 5–7 hours per week. Fully remote, with a flexible schedule and occasional Zoom/Slack check-ins. A minimum 3-month commitment is preferred. Volunteers gain hands-on experience in business development, sponsorship, and fundraising while working closely with the Director on high-value opportunities and final-stage discussions.
