Join a small group of Advocacy Fellows in Congresswoman Lois Frankel's Congressional District. Ms. Frankel is on the House subcommittee that funds foreign aid, so her constituents have an important opportunity to make a difference for global health.
You will be trained and supported in effective citizen advocacy, urging the Congresswoman to support measures to increase the impact of U.S. global health programs. Currently we are focused on increasing U.S. aid for the delivery of frontline health care and on improved reporting on the health outcomes of our aid.
Advocacy Fellows work about 6 hours a week for a minimum of 12 months, with regular small-group coaching by video chat. All activities can be conducted remotely.
Before you apply, start with a brief chat with our Director of Advocacy, Keith Johnson, to answer your questions and see if this is what you're looking for. Email Keith a brief statement of interest and a few times you would be available, after 8:30am Pacific Time/ 11:30am Eastern Time: k.johnson@fundforglobalhealth.org
