    Habitat for Humanity ReStore - Elgin

    YOU DON’T HAVE TO SWING A HAMMER TO HELP HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUILD HOMES. ReStore Elgin is a resale store of new and gently used Furniture, Home Accessories, Appliances and Building Materials with all proceeds going to fund Habitat for Humanity in our area.

    • Volunteers are needed to support all of the reselling efforts to increase these proceeds.
    • Volunteer tasks are focused on our mission to make sure that "Everybody deserves a decent place to live!"
    • Shifts: Serve as little as every other week for 3 to 4 hours.
    • Training: "NEW TO RESTORE ORIENTATION" is held once a month tol give you all you need to know to get started. On your 1 st day you work with Volunteer Mentor.
    • Court ordered Community Service: ReStore accepts those individuals that need to complete 30 hours or more. Must serve at least 2-four hour shifts per month.
