Youth Art Workshop Volunteer (First & Last Saturdays)

Creative Emajinations is a Kansas City-based nonprofit seeking volunteers who want to support local youth through creative, hands-on art experiences. This is a great opportunity for students, artists, educators, and community members to gain experience, earn volunteer hours, and make a positive impact.

Volunteer Role Overview

Selected volunteers will be invited to complete a background check (fee partially covered) and receive onboarding details.

Responsibilities

• Assist with art and creative activities during workshops
• Encourage participation, creativity, and positive interaction
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
• Support setup and cleanup of materials and activity spaces

Schedule

• Ages 5–12: First Saturdays of the month
• Ages 13–18: Last Saturdays of the month
• Workshops typically last 1–2 hours
• Volunteers may sign up for one date or multiple sessions
