Volunteer Role:
As a member of our Fund Development Committee, you will collaborate with fellow committee members, staff, and board members to create and execute fundraising strategies. This is a vital role for someone passionate about nonprofit work, community impact, and generating sustainable revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising plans, strategies, and campaigns.
- Assist with donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
- Identify potential grant opportunities and support the grant writing process.
- Organize and contribute to fundraising events, appeals, and initiatives.
- Monitor fundraising progress and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising efforts.
- Network and build relationships with community stakeholders, sponsors, and partners.
Qualifications:
- Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, event planning, or related fields.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Passion for the mission of I Will Survive, Inc.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people.
- Creativity, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience on a nonprofit committee is a plus, but not required.
