Casino event volunteers needed!

Looking to lend a hand in support of a great cause all while enjoying a one-of-a-kind evening? Clear Thoughts Foundation’s annual Roll for a Reason Gala is right around the corner and they’re looking for volunteers to help make this wonderful evening a success!

CTF’s Roll for a Reason Gala will be held at Discovery PGH (Cranberry Twp. off 228) on Saturday, November 7, 2026. It will be a Monte Carlo Casino Night with entertainment, gaming, food, spirits, live and silent auctions, basket raffles, exclusive magic shows, and more. All volunteers will be needed on Saturday, November 7 from 4:00PM - 11:00PM

Position Details (Please note that volunteer assignments are based on event needs and availability):

• Food Servers – CTF's Gala features a variety of culinary offerings, including heavy hors d'oeuvres, a charcuterie display, a carving station, and other stationary food stations. Food Servers will circulate throughout the venue with passed appetizers while working alongside the professional catering staff to ensure timely food service. No prior experience or training is required.
• Roving Clean-Up – Volunteers in this role will help keep the event space clean and welcoming by clearing used plates, glasses, and other items from the limited seating and table areas throughout the venue. Maintaining these spaces ensures all 400+ guests can comfortably enjoy the evening.
• Guest Check-In & Registration – Ideal for volunteers who are comfortable with technology, this role will assist guests with event check-in and registering a credit card for all evening purchases.
• Casino Cashier – Stationed in the main ballroom, Casino Cashiers will assist attendees with purchasing additional casino chips so they can continue participating in the evening's casino gaming.
• Mystery Wine Pull – Oversee CTF's popular Mystery Wine Pull, assisting guests with purchasing chances to select from 100 mystery bottles of wine.
• Bourbon Raffle Sales - Assist guest with purchasing raffle tickets and included 1oz tasting.
• Basket Raffle Sales – Assist guests with purchasing raffle tickets for the evening's basket raffle drawings and assist with basket pick up upon announcement of winners.
• Texas Hold'em Sales/ Servers – Responsible for selling all 20 available seats for the exclusive High Roller Texas Hold'em experience and assisting guests with beverage service and drink refills, ensuring an exceptional player experience throughout the game.
• Magic Experience Sales/Escort – Responsible for selling all 100 available seats for the exclusive Magic Experience, assisting guests with purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis and also helping to escort attendees to the appropriate location at the start of the show.
