Start a Community Chapter

Stronger Than Cancer is a student-led nonprofit focused on raising cancer awareness, supporting patients and survivors, and educating communities through outreach and volunteer-driven initiatives. We assemble and distribute comfort care kits for cancer patients and work closely with hospitals and community partners to provide meaningful support to individuals and families.

We are looking for passionate and self driven students to start and lead Stronger Than Cancer Community Chapters in their local areas.

This is a unique leadership opportunity where you will build something meaningful from the ground up while making a real difference in your community.

What You’ll Do:

• Recruiting volunteers from neighborhoods, friend groups, and community organizations
• Hosting volunteer meetups at homes, libraries, community centers, or local events
• Making bracelets and cards, and helping with care kit support projects
• Supporting outreach, fundraising, or awareness efforts, including breast cancer awareness, based on interest
• Tracking volunteer participation and service hours
• Coordinating donation drop offs with our team
• Representing Stronger Than Cancer with kindness and responsibility
• Sharing photos and short updates with the Stronger Than Cancer team

Who Should Apply :

• High school or college students
• Interested in leadership, healthcare, or community impact
• Willing to take initiative and work with community
• Passionate about making a difference
