Bill Payer volunteers assist ESWA's Money Management Program by supporting older adults who require assistance with bill paying, budgeting and checking account maintenance. A volunteer is matched to a client in our service area (Worcester and 14 surrounding towns) and provides support in these areas during a monthly home visit. Volunteers are asked to make a 1 year commitment, have general knowledge of household budgeting and money management, patience, accuracy with maintaining financial records, and the ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of individuals. Volunteers must also provide their own transportation. The typical time commitment ranges between 1-2 hours per month. All volunteers must pass CORI/SORI and other checks. Great for someone with a financial/banking background.
