    Remote-Friendly High-Volume Role Immediate Need

    Position Overview

    LASH Foundation is seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. This role handles a broad range of clerical and communications tasks that keep the Foundation running smoothly and ensure our outreach efforts are professional and timely.

    The Administrative Assistant reports to Foundation leadership and works closely with all board members to support governance, donor communications, and program administration. This is a high-activity, high-impact role suited for someone who thrives in a structured support environment.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Draft, format, proofread, and send donation solicitation letters on behalf of LASH Foundation to large organizations, corporations, and philanthropic entities in Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, and Nevada
    • Maintain and update the Foundation's donor and contact databases with accuracy
    • Handle general correspondence — incoming mail, email inquiries, and phone messages — on behalf of leadership
    • Prepare and organize board meeting materials, agendas, and minutes
    • Support the Treasurer (Kim Bryant) with filing, document management, and financial record organization
    • Manage filing systems for contracts, grant applications, board resolutions, and program records
    • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for Foundation events, meetings, and community programs
    • Assist with website and social media updates at www.lashfoundation.org as directed
    • Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets tracking program participation, donations, and outreach activity
    • Support the Grant Writer volunteer with formatting and mailing of proposal packages

    Qualifications

    • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail; ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional correspondence experience preferred
    • Prior experience in an administrative, nonprofit, or office support role strongly preferred
    • Discretion and reliability in handling confidential organizational information
    • Genuine commitment to LASH Foundation's charitable mission
