    Description

    The Student Strategy Lab (SSL) is a student-led organization dedicated to helping students navigate high school through practical resources, research, and peer-to-peer guidance.

    We're looking for motivated student volunteers who want to make a positive impact by creating resources that help other students succeed. Volunteers can choose to contribute in Research or Content Creation based on their interests and strengths.

    This is a 100% virtual volunteer opportunity with flexible scheduling, making it easy to participate alongside school and extracurricular activities.

    Responsibilities

    Volunteers may work on one or more of the following teams:

    Research Team

    • Research scholarships, internships, summer programs, and academic resources
    • Verify information for accuracy
    • Organize research into shared databases
    • Summarize findings for student-friendly resources

    Content Team

    • Create educational social media posts
    • Help write guides and articles
    • Design graphics and presentations
    • Suggest ideas for future content

    Qualifications

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Current high school student or equivalent
    • Reliable and responsible
    • Good communication skills
    • Able to work independently
    • Willing to learn and collaborate
    • Comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive (or willing to learn)

    No previous volunteer experience is required.

    Time Commitment

    • At least 1–3 hours per week
    • Flexible schedule
    • Fully remote
