About the Center

The Center for Therapeutic Advancement is a new Illinois nonprofit dedicated to restoring the healing ethos of therapy. We help clinicians close gaps in knowledge, skills, competency, and field literacy through three lenses: Foundations, Impositions, and Innovations. This is a start-up environment perfect for an early or mid-career professional looking to build their portfolio, with the potential to have a lasting impact on our branding and marketing.

What you will do:

• Draft posts for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram that share our programs and ideas
• Build and maintain a content calendar and schedule approved posts
• Create graphics in Canva
• Create some vector-based graphics in Adobe Illustrator
• Turn short Salon video clips into engaging posts
• Suggest ideas for reaching more mental health clinicians

Every post is reviewed and approved by the Executive Director before publishing, so you will always have support and clear feedback.

Who we are looking for:

• You write clear, friendly, professional social media copy
• You are comfortable with LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Canva
• You have experience with Adobe Illustrator or a comparable vector-based design platform
• You have basic video editing skill (familiarity with Riverside or a comparable platform)
• You are organized and reliable with deadlines
• Interest in mental health, clinical training, or professional education is a plus
