    Beautify Qmunity District in San Jose

    Help the Qmunity District shine brighter than ever before Silicon Valley Pride! Join The Sparkle Collective to refresh Silicon Valley's 2SLGBTQIA+ arts and culture district with color, care, and community spirit. Hosted with California Assemblymember Alex Lee and San José Councilmember Anthony Tordillos, this community service project will help create a vibrant, welcoming space for all!

    How You'll Help

    • Refresh colorful crosswalk and sidewalk art
    • Plant flowers and brighten public planters
    • Remove graffiti from public spaces
    • Sweep debris throughout the District
    • Support neighborhood beautification
    • Help set up, wrap up, and keep things running smoothly

    • Qmunity members, families, allies, and neighbors
    • Friendly people with positive community spirit
    • Volunteers comfortable with light outdoor activities
    • All ages and experience levels are welcome

    Getting There: Find us in the Qmunity District at 75 Post Street in Downtown San José. View directions, parking, and transit information.

    Check-In: Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift and check in with The Sparkle Collective at the volunteer welcome table on Post Street.

    Parking: Enjoy 90 minutes of free parking at nearby City-owned garages, including 45 N. Market Street; public transit, biking, and rideshare are encouraged.

    What to Bring: Wear comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and sun protection. Bring your community spirit—we'll take care of the rest.
