    Description

    Organization Overview: We are a growing nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive, accessible performing arts opportunities for individuals of all abilities. Through classes, productions, and community programming, we empower participants, build confidence, and foster a sense of belonging through the arts.

    Position Summary: We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help grow our online presence and share our impact with the community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, content creation, and using social platforms to inspire and engage others.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and schedule engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, and Facebook
    • Capture and edit photos and videos from classes, rehearsals, and events (as available)
    • Write captions that reflect our mission, programs, and participant stories
    • Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns (fundraisers, events, show promotions)
    • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and help grow our audience
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent branding and messaging

    Qualifications:

    • Interest in social media, marketing, communications, or nonprofit work
    • Basic experience with social media platforms and content creation
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Creative mindset and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Passion for the arts, inclusion, and community impact

    Time Commitment: Flexible; approximately 5–10 hours per month
