    Description

    Valley Family Center is looking for Board Members who believe in our mission and are looking for a way to give back to the community. We are looking for individuals who have experience in the community and are passionate about mental health, breaking the cycle of domestic violence, and serving the low income community of the San Fernando Valley.

    As a Board Member Volunteer you will:

    • Share your expertise
    • Help your community
    • Meet new people and build a strong network
    • Make a difference

    Board Member Volunteer Requirements:

    • Attend monthly Board Meetings including the annual Board retreat. Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m
    • Govern
    • Fund raise
    • Donate
    • We are seeking Board Members with knowledge and experience in the following areas:
      • Fundraising
      • Event planning
      • Communications
      • Marketing
      • Finance
      • Mental Health
      • Education
      • Knowledge of the San Fernando Valley community
