This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy creative storytelling, digital engagement, and connecting with people. Volunteers in this role will contribute to social media campaigns, design materials, draft newsletters, support event marketing, and help build relationships with community partners. Their work will directly support TPP’s mission to create healthier, more collaborative co-parenting relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and schedule content for TPP’s social media platforms to increase engagement and awareness.
    • Design flyers, brochures, and graphics that align with TPP’s brand guidelines.
    • Draft newsletters, blog posts, and press releases to inform and inspire stakeholders.
    • Assist with marketing campaigns for fundraising and pre-launch events.
    • Represent TPP at outreach events, distributing materials and speaking with community members.
    • Track digital engagement metrics and compile reports to improve outreach effectiveness.
    • Support the promotion of partnerships with local organizations and community groups.

    Desired Skills and Competencies

    • Creativity & Storytelling:

Ability to craft compelling narratives that communicate TPP’s mission, values, and impact in ways that resonate with families, donors, and community partners.

    • Social Media Proficiency:

Comfortable using platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter) to design, schedule, and engage audiences through posts and campaigns.

    • Graphic Design & Branding Awareness:

Familiar with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) and capable of producing visually consistent materials aligned with TPP’s brand style guide.

    • Writing & Content Development:

Strong skills in writing blog posts, newsletters, press releases, and event copy that inspire action and build trust with TPP’s audiences.

    • Community Engagement & Public Speaking:

Confident in representing TPP at events, sharing the mission with community members, and connecting with potential partners or volunteers.

    • Data Analysis & Digital Metrics:

Ability to track, interpret, and report on outreach performance, including social media analytics and website traffic, to refine strategies.

    • Collaboration & Adaptability:

Works effectively with staff, board, and other volunteers, adapting quickly to evolving campaign needs in a fast-paced pre-launch environment.

    Impact

By volunteering in this role, individuals will play a critical part in shaping TPP’s brand identity and presence in the community. Marketing & Outreach Volunteers will gain valuable experience in nonprofit communications and engagement while making a meaningful impact on families navigating separation and co-parenting.
