Description
As a Courtyard Navigator, you are the first point of connection for guests entering Crossroads. You help create a welcoming, organized, and respectful environment by greeting guests, assisting with navigation, and ensuring everyone feels seen, heard and supported from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the Courtyard
- Help direct guests to case management, partners, or mail services
- Support check-in and basic guest flow processes
- Maintain a calm, organized, and respectful environment
- Monitor the Courtyard and assist guests as needs arise
- Communicate with staff to ensure smooth daily operations
How You’ll Be Supported
- Volunteer orientation and onboarding
- On-site guidance from Hospitality Manager and team
- Clear instructions for guest flow and service navigation
- Ongoing support each shift

- Parking:
- Please park in the rear parking lot behind the building, accessible via Currier Street NE.
- Arrival & Entry:
- After parking, walk to the back entrance of Clyde’s Kitchen.
- Ring the bell for entry.
- Check-In:
- Upon arrival, please check in with Katrina (Hospitality Manager).

Once your application is submitted, a member of our team will follow up with next steps, including orientation options and available shift scheduling.
Please note:
- We are seeking volunteers who can commit to at least one consistent shift per week (8:00 AM – 1:30 PM)
- All volunteers are required to complete a brief orientation (virtual or in-person) prior to their first shift
- This role involves engaging directly with guests, so we are looking for individuals who are reliable, respectful, and comfortable interacting with diverse populations
