Volunteering at Denver Green School Community Farm

Join us at DGS to volunteer during our work day on Fridays! Not only will you be contributing to your local community, you can learn about growing your own food and take home some fresh vegetables during our harvest season! Come between 10am-12pm. Bring appropriate clothing (layers, gloves), sun protection (hat, long sleeves/sunblock), sturdy shoes (no flip flops), water bottle, and snacks as needed. Please RSVP through the link provided so we have an accurate count of volunteers!

You can also sign up to eat lunch with us during our Lunch and Learn from 12:30-1:30 once a month. We ask for a $10 donation. You do not need to volunteer to sign up for Lunch and Learns. *Bring your own lunch.

The Denver Green School Community Farm is located in the SE corner of the schoolyard at 6700 E. Virginia Ave. Denver 80224. Parking is on the street along Virginia Avenue or Niagara Street, or in the parking lot of BMH-BJ Synagogue off of Niagara St. From Virginia Ave, walk across the playground to arrive at the farm. From Niagara St, enter school grounds through the garden gate at the SW corner of the school building, and walk across the community/school garden to arrive at the farm. We’ll meet on the farm by the big blue tent.
