    Description

    Gesher Peace Initiative is looking for passionate, dedicated and reliable volunteers interested in being part of an international effort to make real change in the lives of sexual violence survivors.

    The purpose of this position is to play a key role in conducting research on the social and cultural aspects of CRSV. For this role, we are seeking individuals with experience in research, psychology and/or journalism.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Document research on psychological interventions, trends, and best practices, especially in crisis and displacement settings.
    • Aggregate data on the cultural, and societal impacts on the psyche of CRSV survivors
    • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong research and writing skills (academic or professional experience in research preferred)
    • Background in research.
    • Demonstratable experience in research.
    • Commitment to survivor first, ethical, and culturally sensitive approaches
    • Experience working with displaced or vulnerable populations is an asset.
    • Basic understanding of global politics
