Organization: Vision Care Network (501(c)(3) nonprofit, Dallas, TX)

Location: Remote or In-Person (Dallas, TX)

Hours: Flexible, part-time; school-hour friendly

About Us:

Vision Care Network provides free eyeglasses and eye exams to children in need throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We empower students and build confidence by ensuring they have access to vision care.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Social Media Intern to help grow our online presence and engagement across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn. This role is ideal for students looking to gain experience in nonprofit marketing and social media management while earning school-required hours.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms.
• Engage with followers and respond to messages or comments in a professional manner.
• Track basic metrics and provide updates on post performance.
• Support campaigns, events, and promotions by creating visuals and content.

Qualifications:

• Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
