Location: San Diego County, California
Position: Volunteer Board Treasurer

About CHAI ACS
CHAI ACS is a women-led nonprofit organization founded in 2023, dedicated to empowering Assyrian, Chaldean, and Syriac communities and other underserved populations through advocacy, education, capacity-building, and access to critical resources.
Historically, CHAI ACS has focused on nonprofit development, entrepreneurship, technical assistance, and economic empowerment.
Today, CHAI ACS is entering an important new chapter: expanding its mission into direct public service programming, with a particular focus on individuals and families affected by dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Our evolving vision is to address unmet community needs through culturally responsive, accessible programs that support vulnerable individuals, older adults, caregivers, and families navigating complex health and social challenges.
As we develop this next phase, our priorities include dementia and Alzheimer's education, caregiver support, community resource navigation, partnerships, and programs that reduce isolation and improve access to services.
We believe culturally informed community support can help families navigate difficult circumstances with greater dignity, understanding, and connection.
