    Description

Get Her Story Out: Digital Content & Marketing Volunteer

If you can turn a mission into content people actually read and share, this one's for you. Not busywork, real reach for women who've gone unseen too long.

Invisible Warriors serves women veterans nationwide, and about 18% of all veterans are women, yet most of the country still isn't looking. Good content is how we change that: the email that gets opened, the graphic that gets shared, the page that turns a curious visitor into a supporter.

    What you'd actually be doing:

    • Create graphics, flyers, and content for campaigns and events

    • Write and send email newsletters and updates

    • Keep the website fresh and on-message

    • Help plan simple marketing campaigns and see them through

Who we're looking for: you've done content, design, email, or marketing, and you can work in a warm, clear brand voice. You're comfortable with basic design and email tools. You don't need to be a veteran. Neither is our founder.

The commitment: a few hours a week, mostly remote, with more around campaigns and events. One honest ask: if you can't deliver on the timelines a campaign needs, please don't apply. Marketing that shows up late misses the moment it was built for.

Why it's worth your time: the content you make is often the first and sometimes the only way someone learns these women exist. That reach turns into real support.
