    Description

    Bring comfort, dignity, and care to seniors in your community -- all while lending a helping hand with light chores, meal prep, or errands. If you're dependable, compassionate, and ready to give back every other week, we'd love to have you on our team!

    Light house cleaning, Meal prep, laundry or running of errands

    Services is 2 hrs. every other week

    Major Responsibilities

    1. Housekeeping training (i.e. vacuuming, laundry, moping, dusting)

    2. Prepares meals that take into consideration clients' culture preferences and dietary restrictions and needs.

    3. Grocery shopping and errands for clients (not transporting clients).

    4. Client Handbook (Chore Service: Do's and Don'ts)

    5. Observation of decline: be alert to any special needs or problems observed or expressed by clients and report them to the supervisor immediately.

    6. Complete and submit paperwork on a timely basis. Paperwork includes: timesheets, work verification forms, mileage claims, etc.

    7. Maintains the confidentiality of all clients' information.

    Desired Qualifications

    1. Work experience in homemaker or others serving in a professional capacity.

    2. Must be able to communicate adequately in English.

    3. Must be able to communicate effectively with elderly persons.

    4. Must be dependable and able to work with little or no supervision in the client's home.

    5. Must be caring, respectful, and sensitive to the feelings and needs of the elderly.

    6. Must have a valid California Driver's License, excellent driving record, and a personal automobile insurance coverage if using a personal vehicle for work purposes (i.e. running clients' errands).

    7. Reliable transportation is a must.

    8. Must pass Live Scan (FBI/DOJ background check).
