Hello friends! We are currently in need of volunteers interested in hotline/hospital advocacy. Volunteers in the hotline room will provide direct support to the survivor calling, including emotional support and connection to resources such as therapy and emergency shelter. Volunteers for hospital advocacy will provide advocacy in high crisis situations, supporting the survivor through a medical exam after their assault and making sure they receive the best care. If you are interested, please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Delaney at delaneyj@hope-healing.org.
Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center is home to the Battered Women's Shelter and Rape Crisis Center of Medina and Summit Counties. We provide advocacy services to survivors of intimate partner violence, human trafficking, sexual violence, and stalking throughout both counties.
