    We’re Hiring Teaching Artists! Be Part of Camp Immersed This Summer 🌍

    We are currently hiring staff for Camp Immersed, a dynamic, week-long immersive learning experience designed to introduce children to world languages, global cultures, and real-world communication through interactive activities and hands-on exploration. Camp Immersed is an initiative of Immersed Global, an organization committed to bridging the gap between local communities and global opportunities through language learning and intercultural engagement. Camp is being held in two separate locations this summer - This listing is for Salisbury.

    Camp dates and Locations:

    • June 22–26, 2026 | 301 Tilghman Road, Suite 101, Salisbury, MD 21804

    Staff have the option to work at one campsite or both, depending on availability. Compensation is provided per campsite.

    Spanish Language Skills: Basic Spanish required

    Reporting To: Camp Director (program alignment)

    Rate: $150 Stipend per day

    Role Summary

    Teaching artists reinforce daily Spanish through music, rhythm and movement. This position is designed as a youth leadership development opportunity, with structured supervision and mentorship.

    Key Responsibilities

    Teaching

    • Plan and lead one cultural workshop session (45 mins)
    • Engage students through hands-on activities
    • Introduce cultural context through art, music, movement, or storytelling
    • Collaborate with Camp Leadership for alignment

    Qualifications

    • Experience as a teaching artist or cultural educator
    • Experience working with children ages 6–11 preferred but not required
    • Background check required
