Description
We’re looking for a team of creative volunteers to help us paint the set pieces for this year’s Habitat for Humanity Builders Ball! This year’s event honors the resilience of families affected by the wildfires and celebrates the incredible work being done through our ReBuild LA initiative.
No professional painting experience required—just bring your energy, creativity, and willingness to get a little paint on your hands. We’ll provide all the materials, guidance, and good vibes while we transform raw set pieces into something beautiful for an unforgettable night.
Location: 8739 Artesia Blvd, Bellflower CA
Time: 10:00am-3:00pm
What you’ll be doing:
- Painting scenic set pieces and decorative elements
- Helping create the visual atmosphere for the Builders Ball
- Working alongside a fun group of volunteers making a real impact
Why it matters:
- Your help behind the scenes will play a huge role in making this event a success—supporting Habitat’s mission to help families rebuild and recover.
Requirements:
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on!
- Sneakers or work boots are the only shoes permitted.
- All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Volunteers ages 14-17 must have a parent or guardian complete and sign the Minor Release Form below. Volunteers that are 14 & 15 years of age must have a chaperone present during their shift.
- Minors 14 - 17 years old please fill out and bring your Volunteer Form packet with you when you come and volunteer with us.
