    We’re looking for a SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT VOLUNTEER

    Are you passionate about creating content that helps powerful stories reach more people?

    If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, then you may just be the person we need.

    Friends-International (FI), an award-winning NGO founded in Phnom Penh in 1994. Our vision is a world where every child, young person, and their caregivers are safe from harm and can access education, training and job opportunities to fulfil their potential as productive, functional citizens of their countries. Our dynamic teams across Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Europe deliver innovative services for children, youth, and communities. Through our Saving Lives, Building Futures, and ChildSafe programs, we focus on child protection, education, vocational training, social businesses, and more!

    THE ROLE

    As a Social Media Content Volunteer, Based in HQ in Phnom Penh or remotely, you will:

    • Create and schedule engaging social media content across multiple platforms.
    • Support the creation of short-form videos and Reels using tools such as CapCut or similar.
    • Support storytelling by turning program updates into compelling digital content.
    • Monitor channels daily and flag comments, messages, or mentions that require attention
    • Maintain an up-to-date content tracker and prepare monthly reports on social media performance.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their creativity for a meaningful cause while gaining hands-on experience in content creation and social media.

    Does this describe you?

    • A dynamic team player who is passionate about working for the protection and education of marginalized children, youth and their families
    • Passionate about social media and creating engaging content
    • Fluent in English – open to both local and international applicants!
    • Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and social media tools
    • Basic photo or video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, InShot, or similar) are a plus.
    • Understanding of ethical storytelling and respect for safeguarding and confidentiality principles.
    • Available to volunteer remotely or in Phnom Penh for 3–6 months, with flexible hours.
