Shelter Outreach Coordinator

Role Overview

We're looking for a motivated volunteer to help us grow our shelter partnerships. You'll be reaching out to various shelters in the Metro Atlanta area and organizing birthday and holiday sweet treat deliveries.

What You'll Do

-Research and identify shelters, family resource centers, and transitional housing programs in and around Metro Atlanta

-Reach out via email and/or phone to introduce Birthday Bundles and invite partnerships

-Follow up consistently and patiently with shelter staff to move conversations forward

-Guide new partners through our intake process

-Maintain an organized tracker of contacts and ongoing deliveries

Who We're Looking For

-Strong communicator who's comfortable with cold outreach

-Organized and self-motivated — you follow up without being asked

-Passionate about supporting children and families in need

-Experience in social work, nonprofits, or community organizing is a plus, but not required

-High school students and older are encouraged to apply
