Description
Hunger Intervention Program provides weekend food bags to local elementary and middle school students who need them. These food bags, which we call Healthy HIP Packs, are filled with shelf-stable, nutritious food to ensure that kids don’t go hungry over the weekend. Come out and join us at our packing parties to help assemble these HIP Packs! This is a great opportunity for folks of all ages, and no training is needed beforehand.
Packing parties are held every twice a month on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00pm. Contact our volunteer coordinator at vista@hungerintervention.org or visit www.hungerintervention.org/volunteer to sign up.
