Volunteer Grief Support Group Leader

OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center is seeking volunteer group leaders to co-lead grief support groups in Los Angeles, with a special need in Woodland Hills. No prior experience required; training and supervision are provided.

For more than 30 years, we have helped thousands of children, teens, and adults throughout Los Angeles County find healing after the death of someone close. Our vision is a world where grief is embraced, understood, and respected.

Volunteer Role Description

Volunteer group leaders are extraordinary people who make a big difference in the lives of grieving children and adults. Volunteer group leaders co-lead grief support groups and help create safe, compassionate spaces for people grieving the death of someone close to them.

No prior experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing clinical supervision, and a supportive volunteer community. OUR HOUSE is able to serve thousands of people every year thanks to the dedication and generous hearts of our volunteers.

Time Commitment

• Approximately 10–15 hours per month
• Minimum one-year commitment

Location

• In-person support groups at OUR HOUSE centers in West Los Angeles and Woodland Hills
