Description
The Mother’s Day Furbaby Sidewalk Stroll & Costume Parade is a joyful, family-friendly community event where pet parents (“fur moms”) and their dogs, cats, and other animal companions dress in fun, funky, and heart-warming costumes and walk through charming Old Town Orcutt visiting merchants and getting a passport sheet stamped/signed for a prize drawing.
Event Schedule:
- 12:00–12:30 PM: Check-in & Costume Viewing at Blast 825 Stockyard
- 12:30–2:00 PM: Sidewalk Stroll of Old Town Orcutt
- 2:00–3:00 PM: Live Music, Awards, Vendors, Adoptions & Festivities at Blast 825 Stockyard
We're looking for volunteers to help us set up, check participants in, serve as a crossing guard during the sidewalk stroll, check sheets for prize eligibility, or tear down. We'd love anyone who is interested, especially if they are animal lovers!
Volunteers can sign up for as many shifts as they would like throughout the event.
