    Description

    Are you organized, tech-savvy, and looking for a meaningful way to support your community?

    VNS Health Hospice Volunteer Services is seeking dedicated Administrative Support Volunteers to assist our team with important office-based projects that help support hospice patients, families, and volunteers throughout New York City.

    New York, NY 10017

    Time Commitment:

    • One 4-hour shift per week (required)

    • Choose either 9:00 AM–1:00 PM or 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

    • Flexible scheduling Monday through Thursday

    • Volunteers must be able to commit to the full 4-hour shift. No exceptions.

    Responsibilities May Include:

    • Data entry and record management

    • Volunteer and patient support projects

    • Microsoft Outlook email assistance

    • SharePoint and OneDrive document organization

    • Filing, tracking, and administrative support tasks

    • Assisting with special projects and program operations

    Qualifications:

    • Comfortable using computers and technology

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

    • Familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive preferred

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

    • Willingness to learn new systems and processes

    Training will be provided; however, volunteers should have a solid foundation in basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
