• The primary scope of work for this position is to help research and create lists of relevant trade and media and to field email and phone queries about the events.
• The intern will also assist with preparing event materials, writing press releases and inputting information into event sites.
• May also support our social media team with research, content creation and/or posting and scheduling content.
• This is a great internship to test the skills you learned in the classroom.
• Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Researching to determine the proper SEO keywords to target.
• Gathering photos and uploading them onto the backend of WordPress for use in articles.
• Pitching topics to media based on rising digital trends
• Attend various events in your city
• Building a portfolio to move to the next level in your career
