Description
Have you always wanted to volunteer at your local library? Do you want to make a difference in your community? Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity? The Friends of the Orange County Library System may have what you are looking for!
We are currently looking for volunteers to serve in the Friends Bookstore at Orlando Public Library. Bookstore roles include, but may not be limited to:
- Sorting and shelving book and media donations
- Operating a cash register and handling small to medium sized cash transactions
- Keeping the store organized and work areas tidy
- Providing excellent customer service and upholding the Customer Service Standards of Orange County Library System

How to Volunteer for This Opportunity
Please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and choose a date to attend a Volunteer Information Session. Attending one of our information sessions is a requirement for volunteering with Friends of the Orange County Library System.
