    On-site 2-3 hours to support YMCA activities in the Kid's Tent June 12 and 13, 2026. Friday, 3:30-6:30pm + 3-hour shifts on Saturday from 8:30am-6:30pm.

    Rockport Donut Festival Kids Tent with activities by Penobscot Bay YMCA

    Volunteer with the Penobscot Bay YMCA at the 4th Annual Rockport Donut Festival at Rockport Harbor's Marine Park on June 12 and 13! We are looking for your support in presenting kid friendly activities, crafts, and promoting the YMCA inside the Kids Tent on Friday, June 12 (4pm-6pm) and Saturday, June 13 (9am-6pm). Volunteers are needed in four key areas: lead volunteer, gaga ball pit, crafts, and YMCA marketing table. Every volunteer will receive a complimentary 2026 Donut Festival t-shirt and our eternal gratitude!

    Directions

    Right in the heart of Rockport, Marine Park at Rockport Harbor is a central location. Volunteer parking is available adjacent to the park, in addition to a trolley service to and from off site lots.

    Instructions:

    Volunteers are needed in four key areas:

    • Lead Volunteer (assist all volunteers on site, fill-in where needed)
    • Gaga Ball Pit (lead and referee casual, short rounds of play)
    • Crafts (manage and stock supplies for 1-2 self-guided crafts)
    • YMCA Information Table (engage with community, manage and distribute promotional materials)
