    Marketing & Communications Volunteer — Grace Helping Hands

    Grace Helping Hands is a nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity to homeless women and children by providing hygiene kits and feminine care products. We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Volunteer to help share our mission and grow our reach.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Assist in creating and scheduling social media content
    • Draft newsletters, donor updates, and outreach materials
    • Help develop messaging that raises awareness of period poverty and hygiene insecurity
    • Support communication around fundraising campaigns and events
    • Maintain consistent branding and storytelling across platforms

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Passion for helping women and children in need
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Creative thinker with an eye for design (graphic design experience is a plus, but not required)
    • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

    Time Commitment: 3–4 hours per week, flexible schedule, remote-friendly.

    We ask volunteers to commit to 1 Year of service for adults and 6 months for students and/or those under 18 years old, who can dedicate 3-4 hours per week to this role. We ask volunteers to make it to monthly meetings.

    Impact: Your creativity will amplify Grace Helping Hands’ voice in the community, helping us raise awareness, inspire donors, and reach more women and children experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County, Howard County, Prince George’s County, Baltimore City, and Washington, DC.

    About Grace Helping Hands

    Grace Helping Hands (GHH) is a grassroots nonprofit founded in 2024 to bring comfort and dignity to homeless women and children. We provide hygiene kits and feminine care products through partnerships with shelters, pantries, and crisis centers in Montgomery County, Howard County, Prince George’s County, Baltimore City, and Washington, DC. Since launching, we’ve distributed hundreds of kits — offering hope, health, and dignity to people in crisis.
