    Communications, Marketing & Sales Consultant

Job Title: Communications, Marketing & Sales Consultant

    Status: Volunteer-to-Hire (Strategic Growth Partner)

Location: Remote / Hybrid / Chicago, Il

Reports to: Executive Director / Board of Directors

    Position Overview

Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE™ Foundation is at a pivotal inflection point. We have a proven mission and a solid foundation; now, we need a visionary Communications, Marketing & Sales Consultant to architect our scaling strategy. This is a unique "Founding Consultant" role intended for a professional who thrives on building systems and sees the potential for long-term leadership.

The initial phase of this role is pro-bono, focused on establishing the business development engine. Upon reaching defined funding milestones (to be agreed upon in the MOU), this position is slated to transition into a paid leadership role.

    Core Responsibilities

    1. Strategic Business Development & Sales
      • Develop and execute a comprehensive 12-month growth plan to scale the Foundation’s reach and revenue initially through World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association.
      • Identify and cultivate high-value partnerships with corporate sponsors, foundations, and individual donors.
      • Design a "Sales" funnel for nonprofit services/donations, moving prospects from initial awareness to committed partnership.
      • Sales Team Implementation & Operations using Oracle NetSuite.
    2. Integrated Marketing & Brand Authority
      • Audit and overhaul current brand messaging to ensure consistency across all platforms.
      • Create high-impact marketing collateral, digital campaigns, and storytelling assets that demonstrate our ROI to stakeholders.
      • Oversee social media strategy and email marketing to drive engagement and lead generation.
    3. Communications & Public Relations
      • Draft executive communications, press releases, and annual reports.
      • Position Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE™ Foundation leadership as "Innovative Leaders" in the Motorcycle Community and Youth Advocacy space through media outreach and speaking opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or Business Development (Corporate or Nonprofit background welcome).
    • The "Builder" Mindset: Proven track record of taking a project from concept to scale.
    • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite, digital marketing tools, and AI-driven creative platforms.
    • Communication: Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to "sell" a vision to diverse stakeholders.
    • Commitment: Ability to dedicate 10–20 hours per week during the initial volunteer phase.

    The "Path to Hire" Benefit

While we are currently seeking a volunteer partner, we are committed to the following:

    • Direct Influence: You will have a seat at the leadership table, reporting directly to the Executive Director and collaborating with the Board.
    • Documented Transition: A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will outline the specific funding triggers that convert this role into a paid Director level position.
    • Professional Equity: You will be credited as a primary architect of our growth, providing a powerful case study for your professional portfolio.

    How to Apply

If you are a strategist looking to make a legacy-level impact, please submit your resume and a brief "Vision Statement" (no more than 300 words) outlining how you would approach scaling our business development in the first 90 days.

Note: Please send all inquiries to thardy@rideforchangerideforhope.org with the subject line: Growth Consultant – [Your Name].
