    Companion Volunteer- Hiring for Various Locations (Adams/Cumberland/Dauphin/Perry Counties)

    Have you always wanted to support patients and families but weren't sure how to help? Compassus Palliative and Hospice Care will provide you the training and support to make a true difference in the lives of others.

    Visit patients and families at home, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, inpatient hospice units. Pay a friendly visit; relieve a family caregiver for an afternoon out; read aloud; listen to memories; walk the dog; be the high point of someone’s day.

    Hospice is about giving comfort and hope and improving quality of life during an individual's last months of life. If you have a heart full of compassion, we would love to speak with you about visiting some of our patients.

    All volunteers are provided a comprehensive training and orientation with opportunities to meet and talk with other volunteers!
