    About the Position

Volunteer Healthcare Professional Peer Reviewers are responsible for critically reading and providing feedback on short medical review articles focused on one particular topic area. The Peer Reviewer position requires a broad understanding of clinical issues and an interest in analyzing medical literature. This is a unique opportunity to impact patient understanding to improve adherence and outcomes.

Peer Reviewers ensure that review articles address the important clinical questions that arise when diagnosing or managing a specific disorder, present information clearly and succinctly, and provide evidence-based recommendations for care. Training is provided to help Peer Reviewers learn critical skills for evaluating the literature and creating content in the MedExplain Health style.
