    Description

    About the Project

We are compiling a comprehensive financial literacy curriculum designed to empower individuals transitioning from crisis toward long-term independence. We are seeking an encouraging writer to draft Module 3, shifting the narrative from crisis-mode tracking to realistic, empowering cash flow management.

    Assignment & Topic Areas

You will write a complete educational module (approx. 1,500–2,000 words) outlining cash-flow basics:

    • The Empowerment Budget: Reframing budgeting from standard restriction ("cutting back") to personal autonomy ("allocating resources for independence").
    • Crisis vs. Transition Expenses: Differentiating immediate survival costs (housing, food) from transitional costs (moving fees, legal retainers).
    • Safe Tracking Mechanisms: Outlining alternative, low-risk methods for tracking income and spending if digital access is monitored or unsafe.
    • Interactive Exercises: Design an intuitive, trauma-informed Wants vs. Needs Worksheet that honors a user's emotional and physical safety needs as priorities rather than "luxuries."

    Desired Tone & Style

Non-judgmental, practical, and highly encouraging. The tone must explicitly reject standard "bootstrapping" narratives and instead focus on resource optimization for safety and freedom.

    Qualifications

    • Strong writing skills with a talent for simplifying financial concepts.
    • Experience in financial coaching, social work, or budgeting education.
    • Capability to design clean, easy-to-use budgeting worksheets.
