    Help Young Adults with Disabilities Build Successful Futures

    Help youth and adults with disabilities prepare for successful futures.

    Southern Illinois Pathways is seeking professionals with experience in transition planning, special education, workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, independent living, and disability services to support our growing programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide guidance on transition-to-adulthood programming
    • Support curriculum and resource development
    • Assist with employment readiness and independent living initiatives
    • Share expertise in self-determination and person-centered planning
    • Serve as an advisor for program development

    Ideal Candidates

    • Disability Service Professionals

Our mission is to empower youth and adults with disabilities through self-advocacy, leadership development, transition services, creative expression, and community inclusion. We welcome professionals, educators, artists, advocates, students, retirees, and community members who are passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities throughout Southwestern Illinois. Applicants selected for volunteer opportunities may be contacted for a brief conversation regarding their interests, experience, and availability.
