Description
PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Volunteers in this role provide a variety of basic services to Red Cross clients in a shelter.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Varies. 8-hour shifts during Disaster Relief Operations
As a trained Mass Care volunteer you will be added to our active roster of personnel. And whether we have 20 shelters open or just one, you might be called upon to volunteer!
Typically there are three, 8-hour shifts to choose from each day:
7am - 3:30pm
3pm - 11:30pm
11pm - 7:30am
Interested in traveling to work on a Disaster Relief Operation? State-wide or National deployments of 2-3 weeks are available by signing up with our Disaster Services Human Resources (DSHR) program.
