    Description

Mentor Skilled Newcomers in Manufacturing, Healthcare, Engineering, or Technology

Make Your Experience Someone Else’s Breakthrough

Behind every accomplished professional is a network of people who opened doors, offered perspective, and created opportunity. For many skilled newcomers, that first connection can change everything.

You’ve been through the journey, overcome the challenges, and built your career. Now, it’s your opportunity to pay it forward.

Join the TRIEC Mentoring Partnership (TMP) program and shape the next generation of skilled professionals by sharing your insight, expertise, and guidance. Newcomers arrive in Canada with global experience but face systemic barriers to finding meaningful employment. With just 1.5 hours a week, you can help bridge that gap, guiding someone who shares your professional background and ambition.

Your insight doesn’t just support a career; it can transform a life.

    Why Become a Mentor?

    As a mentor, you will:

    • Earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward your certification requirements
    • Sharpen your leadership and coaching skills while growing your professional influence
    • Expand your network, connecting with leaders and changemakers across your sector
    • Gain fresh perspectives from globally trained professionals who can inspire new ideas
    • Be recognized through TRIEC’s social media, inspiring others to step up

Mentorship isn’t just about giving back; it’s about growing forward.

If you’re passionate about your field and driven to create meaningful impact, you already have what it takes to be a great mentor.

    • Share your story, insights, and experience and watch someone’s confidence and career thrive.
