Star-Spangled Babies

Operation Homefront is looking for volunteers to sign up for our 2026 Star-Spangled Babies event! This year’s program will be a walk-through baby shower event for 75 new and expecting military families from the Kitsap community with resource vendors, games & baby bundles on Saturday, April 18th. Families will be able to come and go at any time during the event, but we will have scheduled activities (raffles, etc.) throughout the event for those families who wish to participate.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

10:15 AM – 10:30 AM | Volunteer Arrival, Sign-In

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Event Set-Up

12:30 PM – 1:00 PM | Volunteer Photo and Assigning Jobs

1:30 PM – 3:00 PM | Event Open to Registered Military Families

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Event Teardown

Note: We do ask volunteers to help with the entirety of the event from set-up through teardown. If you cannot volunteer for the entirety of the shift, we would still love your help but ask that you let us know ahead of time how long you will be able to volunteer to ensure adequate volunteer staffing.

OPERATION HOMEFRONT NOTES:

• Snacks, lunch, and beverages will be provided for volunteers.
• Please be advised, volunteers may need to lift heavy and/or bulky items.
