    Description

    Overview

    Noah Career Coaching is dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve meaningful employment and career growth through coaching, resources, and community support. Volunteer Board Members play a critical role in guiding the organization’s mission, ensuring sustainability, and expanding impact.

    Position Summary

    Board Members serve as strategic advisors, ambassadors, and stewards of the organization. They provide governance, oversight, and support to ensure Noah Career Coaching fulfills its mission effectively and responsibly

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Governance & Strategy
    • Contribute to the development and refinement of the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic direction
    • Participate in long-term planning and goal setting
    • Ensure alignment between programs and organizational objectives

    Oversight & Accountability

    • Provide oversight of organizational performance and impact
    • Review financial health, budgets, and fundraising plans
    • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards

    Advocacy & Outreach

    • Act as an ambassador for Noah Career Coaching in the community
    • Leverage personal and professional networks to promote the organization
    • Support partnerships with employers, community organizations, and stakeholders

    Fundraising & Resource Development

    • Assist in identifying funding opportunities and donors
    • Support fundraising initiatives and campaigns
    • Contribute personally at a level meaningful to the member (if applicable)

    Leadership Support

    • Hire, support, and evaluate executive leadership (if applicable)
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to staff and volunteers

    Meeting Participation

    • Attend and actively participate in board meetings (quarterly or as defined)
    • Serve on committees or task forces as needed
    • Review materials and come prepared to contribute
