    Work Environment: Remote

    Position Summary

    The IT Web Developer Specialist Intern participates in an intermediate to advanced learning experience focused on web application development, system design, and technical problem-solving within a structured program environment.

    Learning Focus Areas

    • Advanced web development concepts
    • Application architecture and system design
    • API integration and backend logic
    • Performance optimization and debugging
    • Development best practices and workflows

    Program Activities

    Participants may engage in:

    • Assisting with the development of application features and enhancements
    • Participating in code review and debugging activities (for learning purposes)
    • Supporting integration of front-end and back-end components
    • Assisting with testing and optimization of web applications
    • Participating in development planning discussions
    • Supporting technical documentation and system design efforts
    • Communicating technical insights or improvement ideas

    All activities are conducted within a supervised and guided learning environment.

    Leadership Development Component

    • Exposure to advanced development workflows
    • Participation in technical planning discussions
    • Observation of system design and decision-making

    No independent responsibility for production systems or business-critical applications.

    Participation Expectations

    • Active engagement in development work
    • Collaboration with the technical team
    • Participation in structured sessions

    Qualifications

    Education / Background

    • Students, graduates, or individuals with prior development experience
    • Interest in advanced web development

    Skills & Abilities

    • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
    • Familiarity with frameworks or backend tools (preferred)
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to learn and apply technical concepts

    Work Environment

    This is a remote learning environment involving structured sessions, guided activities, and collaboration across teams.

    Program Nature

    This position is part of a structured internship program designed for educational and professional development.
