SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) St. Louis, is searching for a “Volunteer Fundraising Specialist” to help the chapter’s fundraising needs. SCORE is a non-for-profit organization, locally comprised of volunteers, dedicated to helping small business startups and existing businesses achieve their goals.Established in 1964, it is the largest network of volunteer business Mentors in the U.S., providing free mentoring, education programs, workshops and webinars to prospective new and existing small business owners. Since its inception, SCORE has supported over (18) million entrepreneurs.

This new position will be responsible for fundraising for the St. Louis Chapter to operate and includes the following responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to increase funding and support for the organization's mission and programs.
• Build relationships with donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders to secure financial contributions.

Ideally, a candidate would have successful fundraising experience and a strong network of contacts within the St. Louis metro community, strong communication skills, and a strong desire to help the small business community.
